Otago

My role is Manager Client Service Delivery for Ministry of Social Development based as Te Kaika wellbeing hub in Caversham.

I also co-lead an employee led network within the Ministry called SoutherNesian. In that role I encourage and support Pasifika staff within our organisation to support and serve our community.

This year, I am challenging myself to step right outside my comfort zone by abseiling to support an incredible cause—Otago Polyfest.

Polyfest has been a big part of my family’s life over the years, especially when my children were younger, and I’ve seen first‑hand how powerful it is in celebrating culture, identity, and community.

I’m a New Zealand–born Samoan, and my children proudly identify as Samoan and Cook Island. Supporting Polyfest means supporting our youth, our cultures, and our future.

Toss the Boss Ōtepoti 2026 Event Page

Toss the Boss Ōtepoti is back for 2026. This is your chance to step up, have some fun, and contribute to this amazing kaupapa.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
