Toss the Boss is back!
We’re so proud to be raising funds to support Otago Polyfest 2026 to place Māori and Pasifika cultures centre stage.
Otago Polyfest is a celebration of language, culture and identity. It’s a high-energy festival showcasing the rich heritage of our Māori and Te Moananui a Kiwa communities across Otago.
Each September, 9,000+ tamariki and rakatahi perform on the Polyfest stage for five days – with more than 15,000 people watching in person and 51,000 across the world watching online in 2025!
Otago Polyfest is one of the longest running festivals in Aotearoa, and the biggest performance event in the region and the school year. From the gorgeous chaos of wee ones at early childhood services to the skill and mana of our high school students, there’s nothing like Polyfest to build pride and confidence across generations.
Enter Toss the Boss…
It’s a fun way to bring the community together for a great cause!

We support tamariki, rangatahi and whānau through a range of services. Our mahi focuses on building resilience, strengthening early learning for tamariki, supporting parenting capability, educating rangatahi, and reducing offending.- Via this page we are supporting Otago Polyfest by raising funds to help this amazing kaupapa run smoothly.
Donations will contribute to the delivery of the 2026 Otago Polyfest – such as traffic management (to keep our performers safe!), venue, technical costs, staging and lighting – all the behind the scenes things no one sees but every event needs!
Goal update 10 April 2026
Time getting short so we thought we'd re-adjust the goal, but still hoping to exceed it!
