Derby or Bust: Fund Three Tiny Tanks on a Mission to Smash it in Austria!

Hi! We’re Mackenzie, Pigeon Defective and Joelle-Hui - three small but mighty skaters from Volcanic City Rollers in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand, and we’re thrilled to be representing Team New Zealand Roller Derby at the 2025 Roller Derby World Cup in Innsbruck, Austria!

We’ve been training hard for over two years with our eyes on this moment - showing up at every practice, hitting the gym, sweating through strategy sessions, and making sure we’re in the right place at the right time. We may be compact, but on the track, we pack a punch - and we’re ready to bring that classic Kiwi grit to the world stage.

But international travel isn’t cheap, and derby athletes cover all their own costs. Between flights, accommodation, uniforms, and tournament fees, getting to the World Cup is no small feat (even for small feet). That’s where you come in.
