Supporting mental health charity and the benefits of cold water swimming for mental illness
Auckland
I've set myself a challenge for my 26th birthday. I'm going to brave the cold waters of New Zealand every day for the year to raise awareness for mental health. Working as a physio has given me the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life with various mental health experiences. They have inspired me to do more to help. I have set up this givealittle in aid of Changing Minds, a fantastic non-profit organisation operated entirely by those with personal experience of recovery from mental health and/or addiction issues. They work in reducing mental health discrimination, promoting social inclusion and improving mental health & wellbeing for communities, people and whanau.

Thank you all for your generous donations over the past year, together we raised $5210 for an amazing charity. Changing Minds works hard to support our community of those struggling with mental health and addiction illness. I appreciate the effort you have all put in to help me in my goal of raising funds and most importantly opening conversation around mental illness to continue to educate ourselves and open ourselves to the needs of all.
Thank you all
