Level the Playing Field for Kiwi Kids
Right now in New Zealand, 157,000 children live in material hardship—going to school hungry, cold, or unwell. It’s hard to learn when you’re just trying to get through the day.
KidsCan is changing that by providing food, shoes, rain jackets, and health products so kids can focus on learning, not just surviving.
Ten years ago, the Fat Fathers Cycling Crew (FFC) rode from Christchurch to Queenstown and raised $170,000, helping KidsCan support 800 more children across four new schools.
Now we’re back for Round Two. In November 2026, we’ll ride 1,000 km, climb 14,000 metres, and finish with the Taupō Round the Lake Challenge. This time, we’re aiming even higher—$200,000 to help 1,000 Kiwi kids.
Every dollar you give fuels the ride and changes a child’s life. All riders are self-funding costs, so every cent raised goes directly to KidsCan.
Please support me and get behind this great cause.
As a father of two young kids, this ride is deeply personal. Every child deserves the chance to thrive—and if the difference is a jacket or a meal, we can change their future.
Please get on board and support - Great acts are made up of small deeds!
We’re riding to raise money for Kidscan and help kiwi kids to learn with food in tummies, shoes on feet, and rain jackets to stay dry.
