Participating in BNI Octagon & BNI Aspire Ice Bath Challenge 2025

We found out recently we have the BCRA2 gene in our precious family. This gives those who carry the gene, a potentially higher chance of developing breast, ovarian, prostrate and pancreatic cancer, throughout their lifetime. Knowledge is power but also terrifying. Cancer has now become personal.

This is my second year of doing the ice bath challenge and this year, I'm gonna kick ice bath arse!

BNI Octagon & BNI Aspire Ice Bath Challenge 2025

This is our third annual Ice Bath Challenge fundraiser and we're taking the plunge once again for Otago Community Hospice.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
