Donate to the Save Sight Society as a wedding present for Heath and Lizzie

$1,250 donated
Given by 9 generous donors in 12 weeks

Instead of giving wedding presents we would welcome wedding guests to make a donation to the Save Sight Society of New Zealand.

Wellington

Heath and Lizzie are getting married!

We invite guests who wish to give a present to instead make a donation to the Save Sight Society of New Zealand though this Givealittle page.

The Save Sight Society is a small charitable organisation run by Ophthalmologists with a focus on improving the vision of New Zealanders. It is over 50 years old and makes annual research grants into eye disorders and raises awareness of eye conditions within our country.

Heath Wilms' involvement (page creator)

This charity is important to Heath and Lizzie as Heath's mother Heather was closely involved as an Ophthalmologist and Treasurer.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
