Intelligent, Loyal, Dependable & Empathetic. I have no doubt that dogs would love to have the chance to save our lives.

Otago

I have wanted to do something to raise funds for a charity for a long time, last year I decided that I was going to grow my hair for the purpose of donating it to charity.

Next month I shall be cutting my hair for a complete restyle, taking my long hair to a pixie cut. With my hair appointment booked I thought why not try and raise a little more awareness and money for K9 Medical Detection NZ.

My hair will be donated to Freedom Wigs for them to work their magic, to create confidence boosting hairpieces/wigs. Whilst the funds raised will be donated to K9 Medical Detection NZ, an agency working hard to bring K9 assisted medical detection to New Zealand.

Support for this charity is supporting early detection via alternative non-invasive testing for illnesses such as Cancer, literally being sniffed out by mans best friend.

Thank you for your support.

I've heard too many stories of people being diagnosed with cancer and other illnesses too late.

Having the option of non-invasive testing that could ease suffering and save lives - that is something to support.
