I'm taking up the challenge to jump off the Fire Service Training Tower in support of FYD Southland

The Foundation for Youth Development reaches over 1300 local school-aged Kiwis each year through Kiwi Can and Career Navigator. These programmes teach life skills that are not a part of the school curriculum, but help make the school environment more effective and harmonious. Their programmes also give students tools and techniques to use once they've exited school, along with self-belief and confidence to meet challenges head on

I'm involved because FYD programmes- Kiwi Can and Career Navigator - significantly benefit Southland by building a population of youth who are better educated, have enhanced employment prospects and greater self-esteem, and are healthy and motivated.
