We are a group of management students trying to fundraise and raise awareness for the Dunedin Night Shelter

Otago

The Dunedin Night Shelter is currently Dunedin's own night shelter located in South Dunedin initially launched in 2004 and has been running successfully since 2006.

Homelessness is a bigger issue than many kiwis realise, while many of us have food on the shelve and a warm place ti rest at night, many people do not have this luxury.

The Dunedin Night Shelter provides meals, a place to rest a night and social security. We aim to raise awareness of homelessness in Dunedin as well as fundraise or this charity as part of our Manangement assignment.

All funds raised go directly towards the Dunedin Night Shelter charity

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
