Right now around 157,000 kiwi kids are living in materiel hardship, making it tough for them to get through the day. KidsCan is a fantastic charity that provides food, shoes, rain jackets and health products to these children so they can fully participate at school and have the opportunity for a brighter future.

In November 2026, the Fat Fathers Cycling crew (FFC), will ride 1000kms from Wellington to Taupō, finishing with the Round the Lake Challenge. We’re aiming to raise $200,000 to help 1,000 Kiwi kids.

Every dollar you donate goes directly to KidsCan and helps change a child’s life.

We’re riding to raise money for Kidscan and help kiwi kids to learn with food in tummies, shoes on feet, and rain jackets to stay dry.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
