Raising funds for future wishes. Help bring the life-changing impact of a wish to children battling life-threatening medical conditions
Auckland
My name is Ebony and yes I am a goat. Nearly 2 years ago I was found lost and abandoned. My mum Shona Brown adopted me and gave me a forever home. As I was a kid who was fortunate to get a helping hand when needed, I now like to get involved in helping other human kids in raising money to try and help things be a bit better for them in life. With my cute little face and personality plus who can resist!
A couple months ago I got sick and ended up in hospital so I also know a little about feeling yuk and this is part of why this is even more important to me now.
During the month of November, I will be getting into the spirit of this adventure by getting out and about in the community meeting different people and reporting on my outings so I hope you can follow me on my journey and "give-a-little" to a wonderful cause.
If you can like and share my FaceBook page, it would be make me more excited to get out there and do more! If you are in Auckland and would like to meet me, feel free to contact my mum and lets see what we can do.
As part of the Bayleys' culture and team building ethos we love to give back to the communities we work in and make a difference!
Bayleys Foundation is proud to be the Elite sponsorship partner for Make-A-Wish New Zealand, helping to make wishes come true for young people from three years to seventeen years with life threatening medical conditions.
Our team is working with Make-A-Wish New Zealand team to raise funds to grant meaningful wishes to kids to give them hope, strength and joy at a very difficult time in their lives.
Currently there are 400 eligible children diagnosed every year a life threatening medical condition, of which, Make-A-Wish NZ have been able to grant 200 of these wishes, across the length and breadth of the country. The Bayleys Foundation goal, along with Make-A-Wish NZ is to be able to grant every eligible child's one true wish.
Auction - done and dusted 30 November 2017
So the auction closed on Tuesday night and we got $580.00 woo hoo, $580.00 more precious dollars for Make A Wish. Congratulations to MIchelle Pollock for securing this wonderful opportunity! It was nerve wrecking watching the auction closing as I ate lots of crackers to help my nerves. This is me yesterday eating my breakfast and admiring the picture of the three of us....don't we look great
A campaign conducted honestly and with integrity by one dear little goat who can walk away with her mum and hold her head high.
