Following Jesus to Vanuatu and Japan to share His love, bring hope and healing through serving - Let’s be His hands and feet—together.
Nelson / Tasman
When I said yes to Jesus, I knew it would lead me on an adventure—though initially I didn’t expect it would take me across the world - but He did last year! It was a childhood dream, but He made it real! I’m so glad I met Jesus! That He pursue getting my attention. He has good plans and a future ahead of us dear family and friends, trust in Him alone.
This year again, I said yes to a calling bigger than myself—a call to love, serve, and bring healing where it's needed most. Now, I have the incredible opportunity to lead a team on outreach to Vanuatu and Japan for 12 weeks, two nations so different in culture, but both deeply in God's heart.
In Vanuatu, we’ll be serving communities still rebuilding from past earthquakes and calamities—bringing practical help, prayer, and encouragement in Jesus’ name.
In Japan, a country rich in beauty but where loneliness often runs deep, we’ll be reaching out to a generation hungry for meaning and connection, sharing the hope and peace that only Jesus can give, through creative ministry and personal connection.
I believe Jesus transforms lives, and I’ve seen Him do it again and again.
Now again, I’m stepping out in faith, trusting He’ll provide everything I need—including financial support.
Would you prayerfully consider partnering with me? Your giving isn’t just helping me go—it’s helping people set free, healed and encounter the love of Jesus.
Let’s be His hands and feet—together.
Blessings,
Melvin
Fiji layover - a worthwhile visit to see some of the people I met 2 years ago, doing same outreach. 28 May 2025
An overnight layover to Nadi, Fiji gave us an opportunity to sleep and visit at friends house. Vika and Ledua, vinaka vakalevu for your amazing hospitality. I woke up early morning as well to walk down to Pastor Joe's house to visit them. Thelma and I were here in Nadi 2 years ago. She led an FCM outreach and I was a student. We stayed at Vika's house and we ministered at Pastor Joe's church (Grace point). Great to see them again! I missed Sofaia, Jeremiah, Buni, Manasa and Jojo. They are at their school.
Thank you, Annie!!! Blessings to you!
Tank yu (Bislama language), we are off to Vanuatu today!
