Right now, around 157,000 Kiwi kids are living in material hardship. Meaning they’re going to school hungry, cold, or unwell. It’s tough to learn when you’re just trying to get through the day.

KidsCan is changing that, providing food, shoes, rain jackets and health products so kids can focus on learning, not just surviving.

In November 2026, we’ll ride from Wellington to Taupō, finishing with the Round the Lake Challenge. The ride will be the final push to achieve our goal of raising $200,000 to help 1,000 Kiwi kids.

Every dollar you give fuels the ride and changes a child’s life with all donations going directly to Kidscan.

FFC ride for Kidscan

We’re riding to raise money for Kidscan and help kiwi kids to learn with food in tummies, shoes on feet, and rain jackets to stay dry.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
