Fighting for women, children & whānau. 🥊 Help me raise money for Ōtepoti Dunedin Whānau Refuge. ❤️
Dunedin, Otago
For the past 4½ weeks, I’ve been training hard for one of the biggest challenges I’ve ever taken on — stepping into the ring on October 17th for Punch for Purpose 7. I have another 5½ weeks to go, and I’m determined to use every training session, every sore muscle and every difficult day for something bigger than myself.
I’m fighting to raise money for Ōtepoti Dunedin Whānau Refuge, supporting women, children and whānau affected by family violence.
As a woman and a mother, this cause means so much to me. No woman should have to live in fear. No mother should have to worry about keeping herself and her children safe. Every child deserves to grow up feeling safe, loved and protected.
Boxing has taught me that strength isn’t about never struggling. It’s about getting back up, pushing through the hard days and finding courage when you feel like giving up.
There are women fighting battles every day that are far harder than anything I’ll face in the ring. Women rebuilding their lives, protecting their children and finding the strength to start again.
So when I step into that ring, I want every round to have a purpose.
If you can donate, even $5, $10 or $20, you’ll be helping support women and children when they need it most. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser can make just as much difference.
This fight is bigger than winning or losing.
I’m fighting for her. 🥊❤️
