Fighting for animals who can't speak up for themselves.
Canterbury
Each year the Canterbury SPCA rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes thousands of lost, sick, injured, abused and abandoned animals. The cost of operating this service is in excess of $2 million per annum. SPCA Canterbury is not government funded and relies on the generosity of the community to meet these needs by way of donations, sponsorship and bequests.
On the 18th of July I am getting in the ring for the inaugural UCSA Charity Fight Night. I'm fighting to help support the Canterbury SPCA in all the great work they do to help out our furry friends most in need.
University is a time to take on opportunity. As a result, I have been selected to take part in the inaugural UCSA Charity Fight Night. Being the son of a vet I naturally have developed a real soft spot for animals. Therefore I have decided to fundraising for Canterbury's SPCA.
