Fundraising for Hospice Wairarapa
Wellington
In February, I will be stepping far out of my comfort zone to run the Buller Half Marathon. Running has never been my strength, but the incredible courage my Mummabear showed after her Glioblastoma diagnosis is my motivation to take on this challenge. Throughout her journey, Hospice Wairarapa stood by us with unwavering care and support, and now, I want to give back in her memory.
My goal is to raise $50 for every kilometre I run—$1,050 in total—so that Hospice Wairarapa can continue to provide comfort and dignity to others facing similar battles. Every dollar makes a difference, and your generosity will help keep this essential service available to families in need.
Please help me honour my mum’s memory and support a cause that truly makes a difference.
Thank you! 29 October 2024
Kia Ora everyone,
I want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who has so generously donated to my fundraiser for Hospice Wairarapa. Thanks to your incredible support, I was able to reach my goal of $1,050 within just nine hours of posting! I’m truly overwhelmed by the kindness and encouragement you’ve shown.
Training is going well, and even my four-legged friends have joined in to keep me company along the way. For anyone who still wants to donate, there’s plenty of time until February—the more we can raise, the more of an impact we can make for Hospice Wairarapa.
Thank you all for helping me make a difference in memory of my Mummabear. Every contribution means the world to me and to the Hospice community!
