I’m taking the plunge—literally—Freezin’ for a Reason! Hospice holds a special place in my heart for the compassion, dignity, and support they give when it matters most. If a few minutes in freezing water helps raise funds for the people who walk with us through life’s hardest moments, then I’m in. Shivering with purpose!

BNI Octagon & BNI Aspire Ice Bath Challenge 2025

This is our third annual Ice Bath Challenge fundraiser and we're taking the plunge once again for Otago Community Hospice.

On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
