Alzheimers asks

Kia ora Amanda,

Harriet here from the Alzheimers NZ team. Thanks so much for choosing to support our work. What an amazing challenge and a lovely way to honour your Mum.

Perfect timing too, because we've just launched a new campaign for September called ‘Move for Dementia’ (https://www.alzheimers.org.nz/get-involved/world-alzheimers-month), to get New Zealanders moving in any way they like to help support people living with dementia.

I think your story has a great connection with this and will be very inspiring for lots of people. We'd love to share the news on our social media page if you'd feel comfortable with that? We also have a blog on our website (https://www.alzheimers.org.nz/our-voice/blog) where people share stories and experiences, so if you wanted to take part in that we can have a chat about how best that would work for you.

And, if you wanted to send us any pictures or updates from your training we’d be happy to share these too to keep promoting your Givealittle page again to our social media followers.

Thanks again Amanda. We really appreciate your support! You can email me on comms@alzheimers.org.nz or call me on 04 387 8264.

Have a great day,

Harriet
