Raising money for Franklin Hospice
Pukekohe, Auckland
This year in November, my brother Preston and I (April) have set ourselves a goal to run the Queenstown Marathon.
We felt moved to raise money for Franklin Hospice, an organisation who support people in our community with life limiting illnesses.
We have experienced first-hand the incredible work of the Franklin hospice nurses and the blessing they were to our family.
Our hope is that our donations will enable the nurses to continue to bring quality of life each day to as many people as they can.
Franklin hospice relies on the support of the community to be able to care for those who need it most. Join us in supporting Franklin Hospice and donate!
Time for an update! 29 September 2022
We are over halfway through our training for the Queenstown marathon with a little over 6 weeks to go!
I have been enjoying the longer weekend runs now that I have built up some fitness. A few weekends ago I ran the Old Coach Road in Ohakune which was beautiful. It was a nice change of scenery! Last weekend Preston and I ran 21km together which was also really fun.
Thanks again for your support & donations
