Franklin Hospice – Compassionate Care, Close to Home

Franklin Hospice provides specialist palliative care for people in our community living with life-limiting illnesses.

Our team helps patients stay in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible — surrounded by the people, pets, and places they love.

We offer holistic support that cares for the whole person — meeting physical, emotional, and social needs, while also providing practical assistance, equipment, and guidance for whānau.

Alongside our clinical care, we provide grief and bereavement support, connect families with community resources, and advocate so everyone in Franklin can access quality end-of-life care — free of charge.

Only 50% of our funding comes from Health NZ — we must raise the remaining 50% ourselves through donations, fundraising events, and the generosity of our local community.

Every dollar you give helps ensure compassionate, specialist care is available to anyone in Franklin who needs it, when they need it most.
