Dunedin, Otago

I am the proud principal of Te Kura Tuatahi o Te Koau Grant’s Braes School in Waverley, and I’m honoured to be taking part in this year’s Otago Polyfest fundraiser. Supporting events like this is incredibly important to me, as they celebrate culture, community, and the talents of our rakatahi.

While stepping off a stadium roof is certainly outside my usual role at school, I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way and help raise funds for such a worthwhile cause. I’m looking forward to being part of an event that brings people together and supports the continued success of Otago Polyfest, even if it means taking a small step outside my comfort zone!

Toss the Boss Ōtepoti is back for 2026. This is your chance to step up, have some fun, and contribute to this amazing kaupapa.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
