Raising funds for the Westpac Chopper Appeal by participating in a Sh'Bam Les Mills dance class.

Auckland

The Beastie Boys may have fought, and probably died, for Geordie's right to party, but you guys are going to have to pay for it!

After the success of Geordie Hunter's triathlon training programme, he has kindly agreed to get his dance on for Chopper Appeal.

Much ridicule has come from Mr Hunter as he stands in Les Mills, watching hardworking, energetic and athletic souls take on some of the group fitness classes. With classes ranging from Grit Cardio to Pumping weights, wall-to-wall sneering has been forthcoming in a suspiciously Shetland-sounding accent.

"How was the dance class lads?"

"I thought classes were for girls?"

Mr Hunter feels that, rather than partake, it's easier to bask in the macho world of the weights floor, working on his "guns" with the boys.

So, for the minor sum of $1,000, and for your viewing pleasure, Geordie has agreed put on the Show of the Century, taking on a Sh'Bam class on Level 9.

Described as 'A fun-loving insanely addictive dance work out', apparently all he needs is 'a playful attitude and a cheeky smile' so perhaps there's hope yet. However, according to Les Mills' website, 'Sh'Bam is an ego-free zone' so maybe not! Thankfully, no dance experience is required (or possessed).

Les Mills guru Chris Jamieson has promised to get Geordie to "shake his booty" to the kind of music teenage girls are Twerking to across the globe, in an event to rival the hype of the recent Pacquaio v Maywether bout. Pay-Per-View revenues are expected to peak around the $40m mark worldwide.

Even better, Mr Hunter has agreed that, if the pot gets to $1,500, then he will wear an outfit chosen by public vote...the possibilities are endless, ranging from tutus to England football shirts, and all kinds of stuff in between.

So, please give generously and we can make everyone's greatest nightmares come true!

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
