It’s called, George Breakfast’s 28 Hour Give Back 2 Back.
George FM Surf Reporter Gav's Son Oscar, had fought so hard, for so long to be cancer-free, and that sadly is no longer the case, AML (Leukaemia) cells are present again in Oscar's bone marrow.
Child Cancer Foundation is dedicated to supporting the families every step of the way, helping them overcome challenges and maintain control of their lives, and are supporting Oscar, Gav and the family, so we've chosen Child Cancer Foundation as the Charity to raise money for.
From 6am July 1st, General Lee will DJing until 10am July 2nd, 28 Hours.
He'll be going back to back with a huge selection of DJ’s and together, they'll do their bit for families affected by cancer.

Every week in Aotearoa, three families are told the heartbreaking news that their child has cancer.
Child Cancer Foundation, a National Charity Partner of the MediaWorks Foundation, focuses on the whānau, not the cancer. No two families’ experiences are the same, and neither is the nature of the support they need.
