Help me fundraise to reach my $1,200 target and I'll shave my beard off too for the first time in 40 years !!

Bay of Plenty

Breast cancer can affect both males and females. My mother was taken from us at a very young age - with breast cancer. A male friend of mine had a double mastectomy at the age of 14 - whilst at high school. I have friends who are currently living with breast cancer. In the past year I have also had surgery for cancer.

My goal is to raise awareness of breast cancer - and to also raise funds for the Tauranga Breast Cancer Support Services ; for the tremendous role they play supporting people going through breast cancer. Fundraising for them is important as it enables them to continue to provide the important service they offer.

I am not a swimmer - and to swim 100 metres is going to be a very big challenge for me ; but it is nothing when compared to the men and women who have this health issue to live with.

Thank you for reading this. If you resonate with this, ALL donations will be very much appreciated indeed.
