Gumboot throwing event to raise money for Gumboot Friday

GHD Christchurch is encouraging employees to trade in the formal shoes for gumboots (and donate in the process). All proceeds go towards the I Am Hope Foundation to help support the mental wellbeing of young people in NZ.
In the afternoon we will have an area of North Hagley Park marked out - to International Gumboot Throwing standards. We will provide a BBQ, kai, gazebo, and some soft drinks – note Alcohol is not allowed at Hagley Park. The Gumboot throw is open for everyone to take part in, regardless of experience, and you will all be in contention to take home / show off to your work colleagues, the coveted best female, or best male trophy.
Participants, the entry fee is $10. Please indicate your attendance as per the email instructions.
