My beautiful wife Suzanne and mother to our gorgeous girls (Abby & Imogen) was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) in October 2020.

After going through intense Chemotherapy for 5 months, followed by a double mastectomy and auxiliary clearance of lymph nodes under her right armpit, we thought that this would be the end of the nightmare and Suzanne could start to get her life back together.

A few months after surgery, Suzanne had a PET CT scan which showed that the cancer had metastasized to her liver, spine and hips which was complete devastation for us all. After the initial shock, Suzanne started oral Chemotherapy and after 3 cycles, the CT Scan in Sept 2021 was showing improvements which was amazing and gave us hope.

Since November 2021, Suzanne has had more pain daily which resulted in a recent admission to hospital as she had elevated liver function tests. Whilst in hospital, Suzanne had a CT scan which showed that the legions in the liver had grown and there was also tumour growths in the spine which means the current Chemo isn’t working against the highly aggressive TNBC cancer.

Since Christmas 2021, Suzanne's condition has further deteriorated but we managed to get past our 17th Wedding Anniversary on 14th Jan 2022. Suzanne passed away in hospice under the excellent care of the doctors and nurses.

I know most people have had things tough since 2020 due to COVID but all I am asking is for people to give a little as a little means a lot to many.

Suzanne is my wonderful wife and proud mum to Abby (14) and Imogen (9), my kids wont have their mum as they go through their pinnacle years of life which is truly devastating but we rest in the knowledge that she is watching over us each and every day.
