Nick and Ali will be playing golf from sunrise til sunset in the peak of summer to raise money for men’s health.

Auckland

Men’s health has historically been put on the back burner here in New Zealand and now it’s time to stand up. The two most important male-only cancers are prostate and testicular cancer.

- Each year in New Zealand 3100 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer and approximately 650 men die from the disease (the third highest cancer death rate in men).

- Testicular cancer is the most common form of cancer in young men aged under 30. It can be easily cured by surgical removal of the testicle however, lack of education regarding self examination often leads to delayed presentation and worse outcomes for young men.

Nick and myself are both highly passionate about this topic and we are advocates for education, support and celebration of men’s health, an area that is too often neglected.

On January the 11th 2021 we will be playing golf from sunrise til sunset, attempting to play four rounds/72 holes - the equivalent of a full marathon, with all proceeds going to the Prostate and Testicular cancer foundation of New Zealand.
