    Kia ora koutou,

Our last update brings good news 🤗 Grace and Rose's hair has been accepted by Freedom Wigs, and has earned another $135 for the Child Cancer Foundation. So, in total the girls raised $1910, and are very grateful for all of your donations and encouragement. They were chuffed to receive beautiful thank you letters and certificates from Freedom Wigs. Plus, they are still loving their short 'dos 😍 (See you soon for a trim, Julia@Hair Junkie!)

Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou,

    Grace, Rose and family

Well folks, they did it! Bolstered by your beautiful messages, and given the star treatment at Hair Junkie, the girls went for the big chop! They grinned and laughed all the way through and absolutely love their new haircuts. Thank you all so much for the aroha and tautoko. The girls truly feel it. Ngā mihi nui to Julia and Hair Junkie for donating all services and goodie bags of products - so generous :) We are stoked to see the funds climbing for The Child Cancer Foundation, and excited to post the hair off to Dunedin next week! This page is open for another 11 days, so please feel free to share x

    Kia ora koutou.

Thank you so much for your donations and beautiful, encouraging words. The girls are more determined than ever to cut their hair and the date is now set for next Monday! We'll keep the page open for two weeks beyond that, so feel free to share it.)

This week Anna Irvine (Development Manager, Child Cancer Foundation) visited Grace and Rose at home. She told us more about the incredible work of the Child Cancer Foundation, and taught the girls the meaning of the Beads of Courage.

For every doctor's visit, injection and medical procedure, the children receive a bead. The beads become very long necklaces. We were so pleased to learn that since the CCF started, children's survival rates have leapt from 20% to 80%. The CCF also invests in research and the medicine is getting better and better.

It was wonderful of Anna to contact us, and help us understand the important work all of your donations are doing. The Child Cancer Foundation is really grateful.

Ngā mihi nui. Kia pai tō rā whakatā.

    Lauren, Mike, Grace, and Rose
