Grace and Rose are cutting their hair for Freedom Wigs, and to raise money for the Child Cancer Foundation.
Auckland
At the end of June, Grace (10) and Rose (6), will visit Te Atatu Peninsula's Hair Junkie to cut their waist- length hair short for the Child Cancer Foundation. This is where you can sponsor them!
All money raised here will go to the Child Cancer Foundation, and their beautiful hair will go to Freedom Wigs in Dunedin. Freedom Wig's payment will also be converted into a donation to the CCF, and the girls' hair will become beautiful wigs for people who need them due to medical conditions.
Grace (10) says, "We think that it's unfair that kids have to get cancer."
Rose (6) says, "They need wigs, so they feel happy while their hair grows back."
Happy news! 29 August 2020
Kia ora koutou,
Our last update brings good news 🤗 Grace and Rose's hair has been accepted by Freedom Wigs, and has earned another $135 for the Child Cancer Foundation. So, in total the girls raised $1910, and are very grateful for all of your donations and encouragement. They were chuffed to receive beautiful thank you letters and certificates from Freedom Wigs. Plus, they are still loving their short 'dos 😍 (See you soon for a trim, Julia@Hair Junkie!)
