Eighteen of us females have joined together to complete the Great Lake Taupo relay in support of breast cancer in NZ
Waikato
Breast cancer is the 3rd most common cancer in New Zealand and the first among females, it accounts for more than 650 deaths in New Zealand each year. Nine women are diagnosed daily and 3300 women are diagnosed each year.
Eighteen of us females have joined together to complete the Great Lake Taupo relay, taking place on the 15th of February. Together we will take turns running eighteen legs completing 155km around Lake Taupo alongside other teams.
We thought what better cause for eighteen girls to raise money for than Breast Cancer, we are asking you, our friends and family to stand beside us by donating whatever you can which will go to the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, your donation will help them reach more New Zealanders with early detection education, support women going through breast cancer and fund research that could produce life-saving new treatments.
