Cutting my hair for ending homelessness

    Yesterday afternoon, at 3pm, the amazing team at Forever Young Hair chopped 6 beautifully breaded 45cm long plaits from my hair, and styled a fantastic short cut.

    The plaits are now being sent to a wig making charity and hopefully will make their way to someone who needs hair more than me :)

    I'm blown away from the generosity received! It went way beyond my expectations and will make life much easier for the homeless people in Wellington.

    Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, I'm so blessed to have so many amazing and kind friends.

    The big cut is happening tomorrow afternoon..

    In the meanwhile I've extended the page until next Monday, so I'll be able to share the latest look with you.

    OMG, donations have been pouring like the Wellington winter weather!

    Thank you for your support so far! An update from me: I've booked my haircut appointment with the amazing team at Forever Young, on the 25th of June.

    Also I've finally measured my hair in a pony tail: around 45cm! The wig-making company (the only one in New Zealand) requires at least 35 cm length, so at least that's sorted :)
