Fundraising for NPH New Zealand
International
To raise funds for relief efforts following the 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Haiti on August 14th. NPH has been working in Haiti for 34 years and is able to direct funds to where needed most. This includes:
- sending medical supplies and other emergency relief to the affected areas.
- providing psychological support for children affected by the earthquake.
- providing treatment to children who have been seriously injured through our St Damien Paediatric Hospital.
- rebuilding homes, focusing on families in the countryside, where less relief is likely to arrive.
NPH (Our Little Brothers and Sisters in Spanish) helps vulnerable children and families across 9 countries in Latin America. Since 1954 over 20,000 children's lives have been transformed.

EARTHQUAKE UPDATE:
Medical teams coordinated by NPH Haiti's Founder, Fr Rick Frechette, were on the ground soon after Saturday's 7.2 magnitude earthquake. They're doing their best to assist with medical treatment and emergency supplies.
NPH has also sent a team to Los Cayes, a town devastated by the earthquake, in order to support families in need.
A tropical storm has passed over the area, which has made the situation even more dire.
Thanks to over 50 generous New Zealanders we've raised over $12,000 to help children and families affected by the earthquake.
