    A huge thank you to everyone who donated to my half marathon fundraiser. It was so heart warming to see some last minute donations before my run and straight after! All up, we raised $2370 for the Women’s Refuge! What started off as a small goal of getting to $500 (or $1000 with my private practice matching the cause) slowly increased to something bigger. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart with making sure NZ women and children have a safe place to stay the night if they’re ever unsafe in their own homes. Your contribution has made a huge difference and you also motivated me to run my first half in 1hr 41 mins!

    Thank you to those who recently donated to help me achieve my goal of $750! I’m challenging myself to see if I can get to $1000 :) Training update: I’ve downloaded the Auckland Half Marathon training plan and started today with an easy run. The next 17 weeks will be all about trying sticking closely to the plan as well as easing off my normal exercise routine at the gym. Will update again once I hit another fundraising goal or when I get to the 12-14km mark with my long run. Thanks again for supporting my cause!

    I am astounded that I've almost reached my fundraising goal of $500 from family/friends/colleagues. I'm sorry for the delay in responding as I've been unwell. Training will begin very soon once I get pass this cold/flu and I will be pushing to raise more for the Women's Refuge. Let's see if we can get to $750 (with my work matching this amount!).
