Hannah’s Big Cut for Cancer
Hannah is cutting all of her hair for charity and has 3 weeks to raise $1000!

I am a 10 year old girl from Napier who goes to St Patrick’s School. I have been growing my hair for ages and now it is finally long enough to cut and get made into a new beautiful wig.
On Tuesday 2 February I will be getting all my hair cut off to donate and send to Christchurch to be made into a wig for a person getting cancer treatment.
My mum has challenged me to fundraise $1000 dollars to give to another charity of my choice before the big cut. I have picked Starship Hospital who helps kids who are sick.
Please help me raise money for Starship kids and I promise to give my long hair to someone special in return.

I want to make kids happy - no matter how sick they are. It makes me feel good knowing that someone more deserving than me is going to use this money for something special. I am also going to make someone happy by donating my hair as a new beautiful wig.

It’s finally done. I am so happy with my new hair style
Now I just need to send away my hair to Freedom Wigs in Christchurch and my mission is complete.
