Help some of the older kids from HCCH to go to University/College!

International

The Himalayan Children Care Home is a non-profit social organisation in Pokhara, Nepal. It is home to 74 children between the ages of 5 and 19. These children come from some of the most deprived families of the Upper Mustang region. Lama Pasang, the founder, has selflessly taken these children in and provided them with food, shelter, education and health.

This year, 12 of the older children passed their School Leaving Certificate (S.L.C) and are in the process of applying for colleges or further education. The courses they are applying for include teaching, management and roles in the health sector, such as becoming a doctor, a pharmacist or health assistant. However, as we know, tertiary education is not cheap and some of the children still need help to pay for their course. We are aiming to raise a minimum of $15,000. This amount can support at least 4-5 of the children with their tertiary education for 2-3 years.

All funds raised will go towards college tuition fees for the children at the Himalayan Children's Care Home.
