The Willacy's Nugget for TSC

Living with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex takes grit, resilience, team work and a sense of humour. On Saturday 11 May 2019, we are marking TSC Global Awareness Day by taking part in an event which also requires these qualities - The Nugget Multisport Festival. We will each have our own challenge: Helen the 23km Adventure Walk from Waihi Beach to Waihi, Tam the Half Nugget, the kids 11km run and Grandma Ruth the 6km. Imagine being told your baby has a genetic condition which may have seizures, autism, kidney disease and the list goes on. This is a reality for New Zealanders every year. It can be a devastating, isolating experience. We are raising money for TSCNZ so they can continue to make a positive difference in lives of NZers living with TSC.
