We were stuck in the middle of nowhere and I was badly burned in a BBQ accident. We had no way out and then, like magic, we heard the chopper heading our way. Without that pick up, things would have been a whole lot worse...

A big night for Heli 24 June 2024
So that’s it. Heli Sounds on Saturday night was brilliant. Plenty of people showed up for a night of great music (if I say so myself), auction excitement and all round fundraising madness. Total in the end, including givealittle page is $10,600 - a tremendous total that is making it way to the NMRH team. Final thanks to the Verdonk’s for their major play, generous sponsors and all contributors large and small (note that’s JP in the photo).
