Kimberly is donating her hair so it can be made into a wig. Can you help her to raise funds the New Zealand Child Cancer Foundation.
Auckland
During the first NZ Lockdown in March 2020, Kimberly asked if she could shave her hair and donate it to make into a wig and raise money for Child Cancer.
Kimberly was blessed with beautiful naturally streaked blonde hair that is lush and thick.
Surely a 12 year old wouldn't want to sacrifice these locks? I thought I would humor her and said, sure, certain she would move onto the next fad.
However, since March, Kimberly has asked me constantly when she could donate her hair. I told her ok, in November. If she was going to have short hair, Summer may be the best season for this new look.
Suddenly October arrived and Kimberly reminded me that the November deadline was approaching and all her friends were asking her when she was going to get her hair cut to donate.
I realised that Kimberly's quest to donate her hair was very real and here we are with our appointment booked to have her gorgeous locks professionally cut, packaged and sent away to benefit someone battling significant hair loss.
Kimberly would love for you to support her and help raise money for her charity of choice, New Zealand Child Cancer Foundation.
Kimberly is donating her hair to make into a wig for a deserving individual. She would love to use this opportunity to raise money for the Child Cancer Foundation at the same time.
