Participating in 2026 NAPA Pop-Up Intensive - Porirua, NZ
Manawatu / Whanganui
George is 10 months old, full of joy, and has a smile that absolutely brightens up the room. George was born with congenital CMV, which has caused unilateral hearing loss and hypotonia. Because of this, his body has to work extra hard to meet physical milestones. Right now George is working incredibly hard to build the strength needed to sit up, crawl and stand.
We are fundraising to send George to an intensive therapy program with NAPA (Neurological and Physical Abilitation). NAPA specialises in helping children with neurological and developmental challenges through targeted intensive therapy sessions. Early intervention, during his most critical development years is crucial for George's physical progress.
To help George access this life changing opportunity, our family is asking for support. Funds raised will go directly towards the intensive therapy sessions with NAPA.
Thank you for your support in George's journey.
Finished treatment 11 August 2026
George has finished his 3 week treatment with the Napa Centre. He has made huge physical progress and we are truly grateful to everyone who donated and gave George this opportunity. As a result he is now crawling, pulling to stand and starting to cruise along furniture. He has gained incredible strength over these 3 weeks and we are so proud of how far he has come. George had two therapists, Xena and Bek. We could not have asked for more patient, kind, loving and skilled therapists. George exceeded our expectations and now that we are home, he is zooming around, pulling himself up on tables and couches and crawling over everything! Thank you again for your donations, it was an amazing opportunity for George.
Supporting families attend this NAPA Pop-Up intensive therapy course right here in Porirua, Wellington NZ (July 20th - 7th August 2026)
