A student-led fundraiser supporting Starship Foundation through our “Help Heal Hearts” classroom campaign before we head out on placements.
Auckland
Over the past few months, our class has been working together to raise funds for the Starship Foundation through a series of school initiatives, including Kilometres for Kids and Easter Hampers. It has been a meaningful journey for us, and we are now coming into our final fundraiser before we head out on placements.
Our final campaign is called “Help Heal Hearts 💛”, a student-led initiative designed to support children and families receiving care at Starship Hospital. In our classroom, we are running a “Pick a Heart, Share a Message” activity where each donation contributes to a heart displayed on our board along with a positive message of kindness and encouragement.
This fundraiser is about more than just raising money, it’s about connection, compassion, and giving back to families who need support during difficult times. Every donation, no matter the size, helps make a difference for children receiving life-saving care and for the families who stand beside them.
As we prepare for our next step into placements, we want to finish this chapter of our training by contributing something meaningful to the wider community. We are incredibly grateful for any support, whether that is a donation or simply sharing this page with others.
Thank you for helping us bring a little more healing, hope, and heart to those who need it most 💛
