I have an opportunity to fulfill a desire to be part of a sports team and to go on tour with the Blind Cricket organisation of New Zealand.

I have a rare condition known as Refsum Disease (which affects the nervous system) diagnosed at the age of 9 years. A part of this condition is Retinitis Pigmentosis ( The narrowing of the vision ) Now at 45 years this has become more of a challenge to me in participating in everyday life activities, let alone sporting activities.

I need help in funding this opportunity along with my team mates to participate in training over the next 4 months along with going on tour in Australia covering 4 states, Victoria, NSW, Queensland and South Australia in November 2018.

The New Zealand Blind A Team is a development squad to get us selection opportunity for the New Zealand BlindCaps squad for the 20/20 World Cup tour in 2020.
