She helped save my husband's life. Now we're fighting for her.

WONDERFUL NEWS! Following a Zoom consultation with the Center for Neurological Recovery in Florida, Lily has been accepted for treatment!

The specialists are optimistic about possible improvements in her painful spasticity, walking and speech. Her severely affected arm will require extensive rehabilitation, but there is genuine hope for a better quality of life.

And an extraordinary gift! Lily will receive two treatments, one week apart, and the Center has generously offered a THIRD treatment FREE!

Thanks to your kindness, we've raised NZ$23,672 toward our $55,000 goal!

Our next challenge is AIR TRAVEL, followed by accommodation in Florida for approximately one month. Lily needs two support people to accompany her, as she cannot yet manage many daily activities independently.

One generous donor has already offered 40,000 Alaska Airlines miles! Additional airline miles, travel assistance or accommodation connections would be hugely appreciated.

We're aiming for sometime after 21 March 2027.

Perhaps Lily's journey will also help open doors for other New Zealand stroke survivors, encouraging consideration of this treatment closer to home.
