I need your help to give a voice to Kiwi kids with Down syndrome!
Auckland
Hello Everyone,
My name is Molly Kate Dennis, also known as Molly Kate Dances. I need your help to give Kiwi kids the gift of speech!
I’m raising money for UpsideDowns Education Trust, a great charity that provides speech and language therapy for kids and young people with Down syndrome. This helps them learn to speak, read, write, and have a great life.
Speech and language therapy is really expensive and UpsideDowns supports more than 300 kids around New Zealand. So I’m trying to help them reach their $25,000 fundraising goal.
More about me:
My biggest passion has always been dancing. I started dancing when she was only 4. My very first dance school was in Dublin for hip hop. I got very inspired by Paris Global from the Royal Family Dance Group, Jordan York, Jacob Yarr & Maddie Hale. I dream of being on AGT & BGT to have a golden buzzer from my favourite judge Simon Cowell & teaching kids dance.
Downs syndrome is my superpower. I flat in Parnell with my best friend, Gabrielle. I also have a boyfriend, Spencer, who also has Downs syndrome. Spencer lives in Tauranga with his family & his dog Harvey.
There are quite a few of musicals that I love, like Mamma Mia, Matilda, Mean Girls, Frozen & Wicked. I was born in the very warm country of Oman, Muscat. My parents Lorene (Mum) & Gary (Dad) are both Chiropractors, they opened their very first Chiropractic centre in Oman to help & supports children with diversity to shine with their superpowers of Downs syndrome.
