Our SOS: Help people with endometriosis get the info and support they need

The health system is in crisis, and it’s massively impacting those with endometriosis.

You will know someone – around 180,000 in New Zealand have endometriosis - but it’s hidden and really misunderstood.

That’s where we come in. We shine a light on endometriosis. We fill in the gaps in understanding, helping the isolated and the overwhelmed.

We empower people with quality information so they can make their own decisions about their health. We give people the tools to advocate for themselves with health professionals. We connect people with others, so no one feels alone.

We provide a free service, and we don’t watch the clock. We know that what we do is valued.

There are stories of an overloaded health system everywhere, and it’s getting worse. More and more people are looking for help. Yet there is no Government funding for community-based services like ours.
