Help put the Brake on road trauma

$35 of $3,200 goal
Given by 3 generous donors in 15 days

Help Brake work to reduce road deaths and injuries and support people affected by crashes.

Nationwide

Every year road crashes affect people across Aotearoa. We are there to provide support to people who have been bereaved or injured, providing hundreds of free emotional support books and practical information each year to those affected.

Our vision is a world with zero road deaths and injuries. We work to reduce road trauma and make communities safer, support communities to campaign for road safety, provide free resources and activities for schools and childcare centres, and help companies with staff who drive for work to manage their risk, through campaigns and initiatives such as national Road Safety Week.

Funds raised during this campaign will help us to continue providing free support to people affected by crashes, and free road safety resources to schools, childcare centres, communities and companies.

Please help us to continue our important mahi to reduce road deaths and injuries and provide free support to those affected by crashes.

2% Effective Fee
On average, fundraisers pay just 2% to use Givealittle. This is one of the lowest effective fees in New Zealand fundraising. We charge a 5% platform fee to cover the cost of running the platform. Because most donors choose to top up their donation to cover this fee, the effective cost paid by fundraisers is about 2%. That means around 98 cents of every dollar raised goes to the cause.
