Help! We need an accessible, safe space to call home.

We are The Serve, feeding those in need since 2014 with a hot meal. Every. Single. Day. Of. The. Year. Our service is open to all and we see a diverse range of people. Tamariki, kaumatua, homeless, people living in their cars and families that just can’t quite make the weekly budget stretch to that 6th or 7th day. We ask no questions but provide a smile and a hot meal.

Before Covid 19 hit Aotearoa, we had a premises where people could come and sit, share a meal and find out about other services that just might help. Government restrictions meant we had to ‘pivot’ and are now distributing hot meals from a local church.

This is not the ideal situation, and we are now looking to fundraise for rental costs so we can have our own space to cook, provide meals and support.
