Support Melanoma NZ with fundings!
Auckland
We are a group of Year 13 students working on a social action assessment in our sociology class. The policy we are trying to influence is subsidised funding for Melenoma screenings for NZ citizens 50 years of age and over. New Zealand has one of the highest rates of melanoma in the world and having access to life saving screenings shouldn't depend on what is in your bank account.
Donations raised will go 100% to Melanoma NZ who are in need of more support. Your donations are a vital source of support to their organisation as they do not receive government funding. Increased support will help fund life-saving prevention and early detection programmes across the country. Melanoma NZ also support melanoma patients and their families through their one-to-one support service from their Nurse Educators, who help provide information booklets and fund melanoma research. With your help, Melanoma NZ can save more lives and support more New Zealanders affected by melanoma.
