Merino Kids NZ/AU is donating 250 brand new Merino Go Go Bags to babies and toddlers caught in Syria's refugee crisis. We are working with the amazing ReliefAid charity, to get them there now.
ReliefAid has unique connections to provide humanitarian assistance to regions like Syria where most can't or are unwilling to operate. A strategy is now in place to get these precious Merino sleeping bags to war torn Syria within a week...an incredible feat given the risks and logistics required.
The need is immense and immediate. Hundreds of thousands of families, just like you and I, are now living in tents as shelter through freezing winter conditions in unimaginable hardship. As business owners, employees, Mums and Dads, we need your help to get these beautiful products to babies & toddlers desperately in need right now.
Merino Kids have donated 250 brand new Go Go Bags for FREE. We are asking for donations to cover freight, customs and duties to get the sleeping bags to Turkey and then on to Syria. Any contribution - little or large, will be one step closer to getting these beautiful warm bags to the babies caught in this awful war zone.
The cost to get the bags from New Zealand to Syria is $5,000 NZD. Please help us to raise this amount to get these babies warm right now.

We’d like to thank every one of our generous donors to this special cause. At the time of launching this fundraising initiative, we had no idea what obstacles would be placed in our path by the quickly developing COVID-19 situation. We worked urgently to try to get the Go Go Bags out of New Zealand before the lock down, but given the speed of global lock down meant, sadly we were unable to make this happen. We are now working closely with ReliefAid to ensure these Go Go bags are now freighted to Syria when clear, safe freight channels reopen. Please be assured your kind donation will still be going directly to helping these vulnerable babies as soon as is humanly possible.
