Help Us Help Our Mum and Partner come Home

  • No Longer Able To Bring Mum and Her Partner Home ;-(

    Hi Want to thank each and every one of you very much for all your kind words, love and support.

    It means alot to us all.

    Things sadly have changed for the worst for now, Mums cancer has now spread from her Lungs, to her, Liver and now her spine and now its become clear that she/they are better off staying in Brisbane Australia as there Healthcare is far superior and Mum is getting quite frail now and Dad struggling to keep up with his work to support them both (so am unsure what and how they will be able to survive but with family we will try and do everything we can to make Mum and Dad comfortable etc...).

    We had hoped that we would have been able to make Mums dreams of getting to New Zealand one last time come true with the help of this page, but sadly wasn't meant to be.

    So now it looks to be a better idea that I go over to help care and support my Mum and Dad and spen what little quality time we have together.

  • Update on our Beautiful Mum

    Hi everybody,

    First of all I want to thankyou to everyone who has donated so far. We appreciate it/you all.

    Mum's cancer has now progressed/metastasis to her liver. Her Immunotherapy is now not doing what the doctors hoped it would do.

    She has been feeling fairly ok, although very tired and coughing alot and a few headaches 😩.

    She and her amazing loving partner are still over in Brisbane (as we haven't raised enough as yet) and are really struggling with finances and no family support.

    So because they have found cancer in her liver, they are deciding whether or not to put Mum on Chemotherapy again and possibly radiation to try and shrink the cancer.

    This is not what Mum wants, but is the only way to help save/prolong her life.

    Only problem is the major side effects on her again (less quality of life), which makes her very sleepy 😴 and dizzy.

    So now as a family we need to try our best to get over there and make what little time Mum has left and to support our Dad.

    Please help us to achieve our goal to either bring Mum home or for us to go over there (which wasn't in the plan yet) 🙏 .
